The Chairman, Council of Elders, Environmental Health Officers Association of Nigeria, EHOAN South-West, Professor Sunday Adeleke Ojewale has described the victory of the newly elected executive officers of the association for the South-West zone as a "call to service".

Prof Ojewale who doubles as Chairman of the EHOAN's Annual General Meeting, AGM, held at Oyo State College of Health Science & Technology, Eleyele, Ibadan, congratulated all the newly elected officers saying, their desire to serve in various positions is a clear demonstration of their commitment to make sacrifices and continue to promote the primary objectives of the environmental officers health association of Nigeria for the good of entire members and the generality of the people.

Prof Ojewale who admonished new officers to be up and doing towards the betterment and development of the environmental  health officers association of Nigeria South West Zone used the medium to commends the Chairman, 2024 Electoral Committee, EHOAN Election, Dr. Sanitarian. Samuel Akingbehin for the integrity, transparency, efficiency, responsiveness and effectiveness with which the committee carried out its constitutional mandate, leading to a free, fair, and credible election through a hitch-free process.

Prof Ojewale, added that, "this EHOAN's election shall serve as a model not only for subsequent association elections but as a template that could be considered for the nation at large".

Earlier in his welcome address, the EHOAN President, South-West zone, Sanitarian. Dr. Tope Akinwumi who was also reelected for another three years as President of the zone reiterated his continuous efforts in transforming the entire association.

While congratulating all the newly elected executive members for their elections, Dr Akinwumi charged them to work hard and harmoniously for the benefit and uplift of the entire association.

Dr Akinwumi, further enjoined all the environmental health officers in the zone to demonstrate their maximum support to the newly elected executive members for the betterment of the entire EHOAN in all ramifications saying payment of the monthly subscription to the purse of the association as at when due cannot be over emphasised.

"We cannot do it alone without your adequate support to us, please collaborate with us to take the association to the greater height" Dr Akinwumi added.

The newly elected executive members includes, Sanitarian Dr. Isaac Tope Akinwumi as President, Sanitarian Ajewole Oludare Sunday as Deputy President, Sanitarian (Mrs) Bankole Titilayo as Secretary, Sanitarian Ogundare Idowu Ayodeji as Treasurer and Sanitarian Olayiwola Sheriff as Financial Secretary.

Others are, Sanitarian Kabiru Adeola Oladejo as Public Relations Officer, PRO, Sanitarian Michael Adeleke as Auditor, Sanitarian Adenle Isola Oluwasina as Provost Marshal, Sanitarian Famubode Temitope as Assistant Secretary and Sanitarian Ogunsolu Saburi Ayinla as Ex-officio.
